U.S
The United States is a very popular destination to study second year of high school. The equivalence with the American educational system it is grade 12th or senior year.

Ireland is not one of the most popular countries to study 2nd year of high school when you come from a foreign educational system such as Spanish because in that country 1st and 2nd year of high school are an indivisible educational stage. In addition, one of the essential requirements to validate studies is to have passed at the end of the course the “revalidation” exam called Leaving Certificate.

The name of the second year of high school in the United Kingdom is «2nd year of Key Stage 5 ″, or, directly Year 13. It is an especially demanding school year in which students study to prepare for the university entrance exams (A levels)

- For students who are not looking for extensive preparation it can be an especially tough school year.
VALIDATION OF 2ND FOREIGN HIGH SCHOOL IN SPAIN
The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in Spain recognizes second high school studies in these countries and grants the validation of the baccalaureate degree upon the return of the students once they have fulfilled a series of requirements.
In countries like the USA and Canada, it is not necessary to pass an extraordinary exam at the end of the course to obtain the degree. In Ireland and EnglandHowever, it is mandatory and therefore They are not usually the most recommended countries to study second year of high school.
The validation requirements are specific to each country but the general guidelines its about enroll in a minimum number of subjects recognized by the ministry in the destination country, pass all the subjects that are being studied and obtain the legalization of the final grades to provide that documentation along with a sworn translation.
SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY SECOND HIGH SCHOOL ABROAD
Currently there are no official scholarships from specific public or private organizations to study 2nd year of high school abroad.
Some popular scholarships such as those granted by the Amancio Ortega Foundation or the City Council of La Coruña are only available to study 1st year of high school in the USA and Canada.

SELECTIVITY (EVAU): ACCESS TO THE UNIVERSITY AFTER DOING 2ND OF HIGH SCHOOL OUTSIDE
As a consequence of the last educational reform, Students taking the 2nd Bachelor’s course abroad do not need an Access Test (old selectivity) for their enrollment in the university, marking the latter, the access requirements.
However, Those students who require a higher entrance mark can take the Specific Knowledge Test (PCE) carried out at the UNED.
