Hi, I’m Alex and I’m writing to you from Buffalo, a town in southern Minnesota. The truth is I am loving the experience of living a year abroad in the USA. My institute is in another town called Maple Lake, 15 minutes from Buffalo and the kids are all super nice and nice, I made colleagues pretty fast.
Even though they say it’s being one of the warmest winters ever here, this is too cold for me sometimes hahahaha. Some photos that I send you are from a trip I did like to Chicago and sporting events like football or basketball games. In the fall I signed up for Cross Country and the truth was a great decision, because it helps you to integrate into the institution and I personally enjoyed it a lot. I really want to start the track now in the spring, and I promise to give war here to the Americans and set the bar for Spain high hehe.

Carlota lives in Washougal (Washington state) and is very happy with everything. The town I am in is super country, the truth is that I love it because it is super different from what I live in Spain and the truth is that it is being the best experience of my life. I seriously recommend it to everyone.
My high school is small but super cozy, the people are great and super friendly and easy to make friends. The town has several schools and I also have friends from other schools.
Christmas here is a great party but I was used to it, the party that I liked the most was Thanksgiving, it’s something new and I spent it with the family here and I loved it, I ate a lot by the way.
And finally, my favorite food is biscuits, and my favorite restaurant is Pal’s there is only it in Greeneville, Tennessee

I’m on the basketball team now, the truth is that I’m loving it and I have a lot of friends, everyone treats me great. Thanksgiving was very good, since in Spain we don’t celebrate it, it was something new for me.
